I Love You Too

When you told me you loved me,
It was like you lifted a lid,
Taking my fears, barriers all away,
You were the gentle hands of time,
Whisking away my cocoons,
From which I emerge,
Spreading my wings,
And fly into the sky.

I never knew it would feel like this,
To laugh, to cry, to reach for a hand,
Intimacy, passion and commitment,
Somewhere between the pyramid,
The pyramid of love,
There is where we are.

Lying in your arms,
Everything fades away,
And I am completely certain,
There is only three words to say,
As I glanced up into your eyes,
Feeling every word from my heart,
“I love you too.”

Oh Crimsonflame, this beautiful. It's very emotional, and romantic too.
I could feel your feelings, and loved your analogy to the "pyramid of love" How very original!
Your ending was timed just perfectly.......and as you felt it from your heart.......I did too!
