Guardian Angel

You always believed in me
Somehow giving me confidence along the way
And giving me advice
As you do everyday

You were right beside my shoulder
Through the bad and the rough
Helping me conquer my fears
When it got really tough

You were always right by me
Through the decisions I chose
And a shoulder to cry on
As time passes and goes

Even though I don’t know what you look like
Or I don’t know the sound of your voice
You somehow helped me in my lifetime
To make the right choice

When my guardian angel is up there in heaven
Watching down at me and making sure I’m okay
I’ll think about my guardian angel
Every night when I pray
