You seem to only care about being right;
Have you ever wondered why I'm left-handed?
Making every action just out of spite -
I’m not the same little girl you branded.
I don’t know what you expected me to be,
Except that I never seemed to be good enough.
All I have to accomplish, only for me,
Every harsh word only made me this tough.
You have only yourself to blame for this.
What will you do once I’ve sung the last song?
To run away from a place I’ll never miss -
Even then, you won’t admit you were wrong.
Giving me all the strength I’d ever need,
All alone, the confidence to succeed.
