she stirs her drink with a rusty knife
puts a sad song on repeat
vodka and pepsi
to feel the rush through her veins
to cancel out the day
to forget a love that never was
broken promises
she melts
passive aggressive
into the chair
drys her tears
and moves on.

This is a very powerful piece.
It reminds me of a friend I once knew,
so sad, helpless infact.
Great writing x x x |
