Devil Out

Topic: InspirationalPoems

You have never been a friend of mine it's time for you to go
yes i feel your spawn inside of me tearing at my very soul
what's that you say i'm yours i have no power i tell you no
shout and scream inside of me i smell your stench so foul

Take your filthy hands from me yes i feel that burning
been with me to long this beast time for you i say out
yes i feel you fighting for me in my stomach churning
let me introduce you to someone i'll let his spirit shout

So i got you running now yes i feel the fear your dying
hear you scream your demons in pain leave me devil out
yes so now it's you afraid spawn dying hear them crying
you can't fight his strength go on get out you filthy lout

now go you filthy beast with him never will you win
yes i know you are in pain as he his name is lord
never return running now out of me take your sin
no it's no good you trying i have his mighty sword

yes go now feel you crying feel that demon dying
no more will i feel your burning hands of pain
i'm free of you now no more to hear your lying
yes you be gone from me devil out take your stain
DEVIL OUT

Hi Fuzzy! I really like this poem, I was wondering if you would be so kind as to tell me what inspired you to write it? x

This is truly amazing. It describes a spiritual conflict, from my point of view. I believe we all got through this at times.

Thanks for the entertaining read. This, for some reason, reminded me of a scene in the movie Tombstone.

[while watching a play in which Faust sells his soul to the Devil]

Curly Bill: You know what I'd do? I'd take that deal 'n' crawfish, then drill that ol' Devil in the a**. What about you Juanito, what would you do?

Johnny Ringo: I already did it.
