I said Id never change myself
I said Id never play that game
I said Id always be true to me
Well what I said and did just arent the same
My lips tell me that its worth it
My head concludes that I should try
My body agrees wholeheartedly
But my heart questions me about this guy
What makes him so special
Why is he the one
What makes you think it will be different
From your other nights of fun
Nights where you were so sure
That hed fall in love with you
Nights that ended in tears
Because there was nothing else you could do
But once again
My body shuts out my heart
This one will be different it says
This is only the start
And at the end of the day
My heart says I told you so
This guy was just like the others
Leaving you drowning in sorrow and woe
