Heaven churned with hope
as the stars spoke his name,
asking his hand in orchestra.
He smiled with a nod, ready.
In the things he felt for them
they needed no proof of life,
so he listened to each song,
knowingly.

Chirping choirs of recognition
whispered secrets into him
knitting promises for him to wear.
The skies were his life's lore
so he gazed with infant's eyes
seeing only blessings.

It started to build pressure slowly,
the madness others implied on him
yet married so surely themselves
by denying ears to his deep dreams
and pushing him away .
People.

Celestial voices, soothing
and comforting persisted,
calming and reassuring
as their visits frequented.
With soothing melodic love
they mended his strength.
Passion faltered naught.

Today a brave pioneer is commended,
embraced by a kindred folk of many.
His promises fulfilled, he stands lightly,
he shared with all each colorful stellar gift
and gave their glowing bodies rythm.
Life.

Renewed in spirit, he yearns the taste
of the next journey not yet told.

The stars spoke his name
and he listened.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
