Cauteous, cautous, pundit columnist !,
Keep the latest new just smooth and flat,
Then the Libertals will have a feast,
And Conservatives go sore and mad.
.
The best stories are omitted- caution bids
To suppress the truth and verity,
Truthfulnes, integrity just leads
To protests and more disparity.
Some proclaim and counsel 'play it safe',
'Think of privilege and your security'
'It is pointless to be strong and brave
Taking risks is absurd fallacy'.
It takes rebels to walk down the road
That will take you to the Narrow Gate,
Lonely road it is there is no crowd,
To cheer on the pilgrim nor importunate.
Hard and rugged is the Narrow Road,
Where security is often jeopardised,
Do you want to play it safe with God?
Or stand up as rebel for the Christ?
Political correctness - pestilence,
A Rinderpest it is that can't but spread,
And infect the halyon herd with virulence,
So that peaceful grazing cattle will go mad.
Political Correctness truly is
The curse that speedily brings down
The artist's work and his fine master piece,
Busts medals and the soldier hero's crown.
Jesus, mild and meek, was militant,
And confronting scoundres did not cave,
Spurned sweet safety and was adamant,
Do as He did and be firm and brave!
Playing safe too can be perilous,
For your Life itself may pass you by,
And instead drab Madame Cautiousness
Make your unique chances go awry.
Want to play it safe with God and Christ?
And of valor and have of passion have no part?
Meet Him then and find out in a tryst,
He wants all of you, your spirit, mind and heart-.
And to be with Deity aligned,
Man must speak in truthfulness his mind.
