I knew from the start

Topic: LostLove

I didnt want to meet you from the start
I guess I knew youd take my heart, with a casual hello,
we locked eyes, then I knew, I had to go,
run home as fast as I could, before you took a second look,
before I could leave you came over asked
my name,
IM with my friends and I have go, yes I let them take the blame ya know,
before I could leave you asked me please, would I come back,
I said yes but I knew I couldnt, I ran home to hide from you.
Laid my head to rest, trying to keep your face from my sight,
the very next night, a knock came on my door sister answered;
oh come right on in. You have company look whos here,
there was that face I tried to esrase the night before.
first thing you asked why didnt you come back I waited for you.
can you come out just for a bit, I bit my lip
because my sister had already gotten my coat,
you go now and have a little fun, and fun we had we laughed,
I hadnt enjoyed myself in so long,
All along I knew it from the start,
this was the begining of my next broken heart.

I know that sense of impending disaster when it comes to relationships.

Sometimes we just can't stop ourselves. Sometimes we just have to take the fall.

Nice write.

Oh yes, this rings very true!
and it doesn't matter whether you say yes or no, you still end up walking the
path of doomed love, at least once!
