Sweets Aren't Good for You

Once upon a time, a naive little girl
Who dreams of happiness, fantasizes wealth
Fervently searched for a four-leafed clover
She wrote her life on a piece of paper
Beautiful, planned and flawless
For a while she had it all
Her ego fed with many sweetness
Nobody had ever said to her,
'Sweets aren't good for you.'
As she ate her candies, greedily
She ate more than she could chew
And like a case of bad toothache
Her life started to rot, deteriorating
One by one, things she started losing
First comfort, then wealth
Next her peace, then happiness
That's when she lost it all
It wasn't that she just got unlucky
Or that happiness wasn't meant to be
She was blinded, foolish
Addicted to her candies
Refusing anything but sweets
Next time, someone should just have said,
'Sweets aren't good for you.'
