Paradise

I wake up in the morning
with you by my side.
I'm happy to get up
because I have no more reasons to hide.

My heart is glowing
and I can't wipe the smile off my face.
Your love keeps me strong
and I feel so safe in this place.

My worries are gone
and I have no more fears.
Ever since I've come here,
I have not shed any tears.

It's so sunny outside
and the flowers smell great.
The birds are singing
and I have never felt so awake.

I feel truly free
for the very first time.
I feel so alive
and I can't believe all this is mine.

I wish I could stay here forever,
I want to get lost in this place.
But I keep getting drawn back into reality,
and that's something I need to face.
