We Are One

Contributed by Alexa_Bachtel on Tuesday, 10th November 2009 @ 11:57:31 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I'm off to waste my lifetime
On what was never mine,
So if you really wanna leave,
I wouldn't hold you down.

I won't miss the moments
We once shared together
Cos we're two sides
Of the one medal.

Two sides of one Moon,
Tho halves of one heart,
That's all we are,
Two extremes of one madness
Two drops in one big ocean
Of the fussy life.
That's all we are.

We deserve each other,
But we don't belong to each other,
Cos you're the sun, I am the Moon,
You're the light, I'm the darkness
That covers the world with its cover.

You're an angel, beautiful in his halo,
I'm the devil, breaking all your arrows,
You're misunderstanding in my ways,
While I don't even try to figure you out,
You're mine, but I've never belonged to you,
You're the air, I can't breathe without,
You're the sun, I'm the syzigy
We're always together,
But don't belong to each other.

I'm happy that you don't know me at all,
And you're sad about the same reason,
I'm simple and in the same time complicated,
Cos you're about to indulge in my caprices,

You're the best thing in my life,
I'm the worst thing in your one,
But no matter what we are one,
We're two side of one medal,
We're different and still together,
Cos you're my sunset, I'm your sunrise,
You are my heart and I'm your soul,
We are one no matter we're going through
Cos we love each other the way we are,
Even if we're oppositions of the same thing
We are one, honey,
We are one.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
