Most certain is the truest of truths
That as I get older, I ruin my youth
The farther I go and the longer i walk
At one point or another the darkness will block
My entrance to dreams I had never forgotten
The coin that bears wishes must fall to the bottom.

I like the concepts in this poem along with the imgery you have used,' that as i get older, i ruin my youth,as a concept and the imagery of the coin falling to the bottom of the wishing well. well written and poignant |
