Challenger Deep

Jesus came to me this morning,
Took me in his arms,
Left my body limp and floating
In a sea of charms.

He dropped me in the ocean
Where the angel fish all flew
And set me up some gills
And showed me what to do.

I played in worlds so alien
That pleasure knew no bounds.
I swam throughout the universe,
And finally settled down.

I live here in the glowing light
Of some newly born star,
And know that god is watching me
And never goes that far.

He’s put me in a paradise
Where warmth swallowed me whole
And left me in a dream-like state
With warmth throughout my soul.

I know now this is heaven
And I know that this won’t end.
And if you want what I have,
Then please make him your friend.

For I have told you everything
You’ll ever need to know.
Just follow now the sacred word,
And your dreams will be so.

Beautifully written. Honestly, I am Wiccan but I am not ignorant to others beliefs. I respect you and where your faith is... in Him. I think your poem is very inspiring to those who cannot find their spiritual path, and coming from a Wiccan, that's one hell of a compliment... Great write!
