Missing You

All alone I sit at night,
in the dark with no light.
All I can do is think of you,
my heart is broken and so blue.

All the goodbye's have been said,
if only you would get out
of my head.

I miss you each and everyday,
my heart is shattered what
can I say.
Will this hurt ever go away?

We weren't good together
that was plain to see,
maybe we just
weren't meant to be.

If this is true then why
am I so blue?
Shouldn't I be able
to get over you?

My head is saying "just let go",
but, my heart is saying " only NO".
I want you back more
than you know,
but, I have to let you go.

I'm still having trouble
saying goodbye, so
please, just go so I can cry.

My heart will break and
ache for you, my secret is:
" I still want you!"

This poem is so great. I feel ya without a doubt. Really loved it
