Here alive with a constant breath eyes that are open on a daily!
a heart that beats a soul that feels knees bent on a daily arms raised high
wanting your tears now!
needing your kind words today!
craving for all your love to over whelm me as i stand!
not tomorrow when i'm in the land!
here i am! right here in your sight! are you not willing to fight?
giving up your rights?
putting them all on hold until i'm cold?
will it be easier when i can not respond?
saying all your i love u's and need me's to the ground?
now no longer around and from where i lay you constantly say all the kind words
and pour out so many tears begging for one more chance to do it all over again!
wishing you could hold me tight make it all right!
a constant ache for yesterday
a persistent wish for tomorrow
but not once have you put any effort towards today!
