I can see her pain, It's kept deep inside.
She knows my pain, and she tries to comprehend.
I cry for her, But she doesn't see.
I don't want her to see,
So she chooses not see,
So she cannot see.
She knows of love, But all I want,
Is to show her love.
I wish upon her joy,
So she is joyous,
So she feels joyous.
She feels pain, In her soul, In her heart.
I despise the causes of her pain,
But cannot take it away.
I understand I cannot make it slip away from her mind.
I wish to simply have moments,
Where none of it matters.
So she feels that none of it matters,
So she knows none of it matters.
I want to hold her,
When it's cold and dark,
So she is not alone,
So she knows she is not alone.
I want to make her laugh,
Watch her body fill with breath,
fill with life, with joy, with freedom.
Then watch it escape from her lips
In one beautiful sound,
The rocks my world, my body, my heart.
So she can see it rocks my world, my body, my heart.
So she knows it rocks my world, my body, my heart.
I wish to lie with her,
Feel her body beside me as we sleep,
To wrap my body in a mass of tangles
around hers.
So she is safe,
So she feels safe,
So she knows she is safe.
I want to walk alongside her,
Not behind, Not in front,
But beside.
I wish to walk,
But not stop until she asks to,
So she is satisfied.
So She feels satisfied.
I want to spend my time with her,
Awake or Asleep, Beside, Not behind, Nor in front.
I wish to make her complete.
So she is complete,
So she feels complete.
