Dreams Don't Come True

Contributed by Feelin_Like_A_Sadfellow on Wednesday, 2nd April 2003 @ 08:45:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Sitting here all alone out in this pouring rain
Feeling so cold without your hand
Looking for sunlight only finding clouds
In my head they shroud my thoughts

The man on TV said the showers would pass
With bright sunny days to come
Where is this place he’s talking about
I’d like to find that sun

Walking through this rain
All tired and worn from this game
Of hide and seek
I was never really good at it anyways

It just occurred to me maybe there is no sun
All just a fantasy of my mind
Something lost from reality
A dream that will never come true

Happiness will come your way soon. As far as the sun, well it rarely rains here in the desert. Rain is a treat for us I love it when it comes. If you can handle the wind storm we are having come out to the desert. Big wind but lots of sun therapy!!

I liked this as well. Come in out of the rain, you'll find the sun soon enough.
