Under the Cold Winter Moon.

Contributed by laural_411 on Wednesday, 4th November 2009 @ 02:46:46 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Under the cold winter moon we dance.
Holding as If never letting go.
Laughing while we twirl and twirl
as we’re spinning on the melting snow.

We are warmth as the uncaring world stands cold.
We’re inseparable as the winter wind blows.
The untouched snow slowly to the ground flutters,
while the world walks away as it unemotionally mutters.

We spin around feelings we have never known.
One like a romance that has just been born.
We know that mistakes don’t matter for we’re all alone.
Just you and me dancing under the midnight cold.

Stars shine brighter as you kiss my cheek.
I am amazed but suddenly feel weak.
There’s no breath in me to say a word;
left speechless understanding that you’re my whole world.

Slow dancing under the cold winter sky
where time doesn’t matter but just passes us by.
Holding as if never letting go,
allowing all those feelings and emotions finally show.

I love the contrast of cold Winter and the warmth of your love for each other.
Beautiful and inspiring.

Steve
