The tea kettle has been filled with love
Sit and wait to watch it boil
I can taste the hot soothing brew
Maybe the kettle is filled too high
Sit and wait to hear it whistle
I can see the steam rising from the cup
Maybe the flame is to low
Sit and wait to hear it boil
I can feel the warmth in my soul
Maybe the burner isn’t on
Sit and wait …

omigosh ... this is amazingly profound.
And the waiting ??? oh GOD! How I get that. Damn. This was
like a page from my very own book. In fact SEVERAL pages.
They are filled with waiting ... wanting and waiting ...waiting
and wanting. What an incredible analogy you've described.
Wonderful post!
