A New Beginning

Contributed by MoonlightKiss on Tuesday, 3rd November 2009 @ 03:02:28 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I dare to listen to the whisper of my heart
Take in the beauty of this world's art
Breathe in the essence of your sweet skin
Enlightened, I watch this new life begin.
I dare to look into your gorgeous eyes
Wake to find such a beautiful surprise
It's like I've been asleep in this place
And now I'm free in your warm embrace.
I dare to bathe in your ocean of love
Make a wish on the stars that live above
Listen to the sound; our hearts beat as one
This feeling makes me proud of all I have done.
I dare to hand over my heart to you
Wake to find that you've given yours too
Perhaps not all hope is gone; there's a trace
For I see faith written all over your face.
I dare to stand out from the crowd
We'll break away; be different; be loud
Watch as you promise the world to me
Yet I don't need it; don't you see?
I dare to love with such devotion
Break me open and examine the emotion
Hold on to this passion; wrapped in a cast
Just love me, and I know we'll make it last.
I dare to make this last forever
Take in the destiny of a world so clever
Breathe in the potential from within
Together, we'll watch our new life begin.

Nicely done, there were some beautiful sentiments and emotions in this and it all came together wonderfully.
