After The Love

Contributed by Alexa_Bachtel on Tuesday, 3rd November 2009 @ 06:36:43 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

What's gonna be with you,
When you forget my name,
And those three words, babe,
Never slip from your tongue,
What's gonna be with you,
If you don't knock at my door,
If you don't do this never again,
Just like you've never met me,
So what's gonna remain then?
After the love is gone

Let yourself find out someday,
That I'm not that loving kind,
And love will be erased by time,
But I'm about to swear, babe,
To make all I can do,
Just to change your mind.
I don't wanna know what it's like,
The life without you,
Cos I don't wanna think about,
What's gonna remain after,
After the love...

My sun doesn't shine without you,
And this place looks like London
It rains every single day,
Do you want me to know, don't you,
What's life look like without love,
Without you here with me, babe?
Maybe, you do, but I hate to wonder,
What's gonna be after the love...

Let the sun don't shine anymore,
Let the rain fall down forever,
But I don't wanna know
What's gonna be after the love,
Don't wanna know you'll leave
Cos you're my reason to breathe,
And when I know you're there,
I don't wanna know
What's gonna be after,
What's gonna remain
After the love is gone

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
