Amours emotion

Topic: LovePoetry

You’ve been in my daily thoughts and in my nightly dreams.

When you’re next to me I feel like I’m on a thrilling roller coaster ride going down the first gigantic drop that lifts your stomach right into the back of your throat speech less.

You’re the salty potato chip that I crave for just one more in the bottom of that vacant bag.

Your cerulean eyes pull me in like a calm secluded lake on a sultry hot day.

Your warm soft hands give me chills of desire and rivers of emotion.

Each passionate kiss drives me faster over the edge, like an enormous avalanche plugging down on an innocent mountain village.

With each passing day, my desire billows like a raging thunder storm cloud waiting to burst and torrent down upon the dry longing earth.

You’re the miracle acorn of life that takes five long years for an oak tree to produce and someday will be cool shade to lie under in some fresh smelling meadow.

I want to plant that miracle acorn with you and watch it sprout and grow then someday we’ll lie under that tree in the fresh smelling meadow and breathe happiness.

Wow...your use of metaphors and similes here is awesome. They painted a clear picture of your emotions. I really enjoyed this..

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
