I'm afraid to fly
cause I know I'll fall
I'm afraid to give
cause I have nothing at all.
I'm afraid to smile
cause I know you'll see
I'm afraid of you
cause I'm afraid of me.
I'm afraid of death
cause I know you'll grieve
I'm afraid to love
cause I'm afraid he'll leave.
I'm afraid to ask
cause you'll give me proof
I'm afraid to listen
cause I'll hear to truth.
I'm afraid to hurt
cause I might not heal
I'm afraid to care
cause I know I can't feel.
I'm afraid to speak
cause of what you'll hear
I'm afraid to live
cause I'm afraid of fear.
And I know I should care more
but I just don't care.
I'm afraid I'll hurt you,
but life was never fair.
You say I'm numb
cause I started to show callous.
I do have feelings towards you
they're just full of malice.
But you can't will yourself fearless
and you can't will your ***** wet.
You can't will yourself happy
so don't promise what you can't get.

I think you've got two poems here - the first finishing at 'cause I'm afraid of fear'. That one really impressed me with its insight and poetic form.
from there it went in a completely different direction, for both subject and rhyme scheme. Callous is best used as a verb or an adjective, as in 'cause I was callous', and doesn't work as a noun, even though its a good rhyme with malice.
Anyway, 2nd part didn't work for me but still, insightful and strong mojo.
