Will they come knocking at the door? part 2

The coastal fog has rolled in, mingling with the nights oncoming shadows.
Sneaking in beside dimly lit corners, the air sighs foreboding.
Eerie clouds suffocating the moon glow, no stars, just rolling billows of black.

I hear them again, they are back, the night zombies, they never sleep.
Voices angry, foot steps heavy, they are out because the shadows suit them well.
Footsteps on the stairs, stomp, thud, stomp, thud,
off they go, disappearing down the dimly lit breeze way.

Their voices trailing behind them, they never are still.
The rains pelting but the wind is still, nights like this......
are good for easy sitting in the warmth of four walls..
Not the night zombies, they like Octobers breath and chill.

Will they come knocking on the door?
No, they keep going, back down the stairs again........
Voices trailing, slipping somewhere once more into the darkness with the rain.

Will they come knocking at the door?

They better not, for I too mesh with the shadows, I hear them before they see me.

Lock all your windows and doors!

Does sod all for your sex life, but it keeps the
