Today, our Lord sent one of his angels
to be born on Earth.
And I was there to observe this
uncommon birth:
With ease her mother went through labor
As God stood right beside her, as a vapor,
I imagined.
The fragile, incredibly cute and sweet child’s face
Looked upon the family around the busy place.
Unfamiliar sounds that mixed into one,
And faces of people whose hearts she has won
Were new but what a delight
To be born to such an amazingly loving sight!
The mother, who just turned eighteen,
said no word;
However, tears said it all, she was praising the Lord
For not letting her to take a risk and abort -
God’s sweet child.
