she thought they were all okay and everything un-mis-understood....she thought in pleasing him she had done all that she could...she thought she meant the world to him and loved him as she should.....he told her forever was his gift to her and to lose that she thought she never would....
even a lifted
writer's block
can make her sit
back and take
some stock
leaving her to sway
back and forth
and rock
dreading the slow psychotic
ticking of the clock
those voices in her head
well all they
do is mock
too late in the winter
to soar with any flock
slept in way past daybreak
missing the cue
from the cock
wishing her hands could
dream up a cold
steely glock
no fence open for business
for which her
damaged goods
she can hock
no straws left over
for she's well past
the point of shock
even knowing every single
reason does not
make her any more
the wise
no one can ever
begin to silence
all her tortured
sighs
she's left forever wondering
which truths are
really hidden lies
tears fall harder now
without a shoulder for
her to rest upon or cry
will she ever stop
feeling like she simply
needs to die
wonders when there's never
gonna be any more
goodbyes
hopes for the one day
he'll want to be
with her again
and try
wishes every new day
would not bring
another question
why
she's so blind and
broken hearted without
belonging to her guy
shaken and rolled she's
tumbled from that
wall so high
her passion put on
hold as her body
screams and vies
this demented sort of reality
she angrily defies
she has no options
for a future on
which for her to
decide
there's no place left
for her to heal
nor reside
no rules or boundaries
left for any one
to keep or abide
if she could only find
a sanctuary that
would grant her
safe haven to hide
the ache in her soul
has a void that's
quite astounding
her mind stays
puzzled and
confounding
she knows she won't
be rescued this time
while she's drowning
the demons come yet closer
scratching outside her door
and howling
she sits in an
awe of stupor
stunned of his leaving
she's lost her faith
once again upon this
journey of non
believing
at the universe and
it's karmic irony
she is seething
she lays on the floor
spent from all
her weeping
she's no longer
of any caliber
that's worth
him keeping
she wanders
inside this nightmare
praying she's only
been dreaming
when spring rains
anew she'll find
herself down and
pleading
she fears that even then
her heart will not have
stopped its' bleeding
but by then she can face
the girl in the mirror
with a smile
while she's lying
find her stage and
lights again
put on her wings and
start flying
no one will see
her tears she'll
keep them inside her
crying
she'll never give
another one a single
minute to start
trying
she'll take it off the hook
no reason for any one
to be calling
she'll scatter the white
and drip the red
then drop through the hole
and start falling
she'll dazzle it all in
front of them spin and
be so darling
aphrodite cannot heal
the fool unless she
becomes apalling
she'll tiptoe through
the forest and hide
from the sun
she'll welcome her demise
and smile as she
becomes undone
she'll just lay there
and let them devour
her because after all
they've won
unrecognizable
she'll no longer
be the girl
he ran away from

I think if she goes through that forest for a long enough time, in time, she will certainly find that sanctuary that she needs to hide in. In that sanctuary, I hope she learns that it's not all nightmares and liars. Also, that she can come out from hiding.
A very emotional write and nicely done.

I do not know what to say.
As I sat here reading this I felt a gripping pain near my heart.
So emotional and deeply moving.
I am so sorry for this pain in your heart........
I agree with Tim about the forest, nature in the real life setting can give you peace and wrap its arms around you and hug it all away.......
Hugs you tight
