Well I have been...
A quiet listener and the dearest friend
Someone to talk to when your life’s a mess
A recluse hermit hiding in a shell
Critiquing others though unsure myself
A fearless leader who just does whats right
A procrastinator afraid of life
Yeah weak and strong, I’ve been it all
A teacher, a student, a fly on the wall
Provoker, lover and instigator
A foolish sinner and sincere faker
From always right to completely unsure
Amateur poet, part-time philosopher
See one day I’m praised, the other I’m shunned
Revered and vilified for the things i’ve done
Once a childish boy, now a Crippled old man
But if I find my cane, I would gladly stand
See I’m tired of being so many different things
Different people in different scenes
So since I’m more often who(ever) I need to be
I think for this Halloween, I will be Going as me.
