You take my hand
As I turn to sand
You try to avoid the hurt
As I turn to a dry desert
Blowing away in the wind
In the end
I am but dust in your hand
Reduced to nothing but sand
You take my hand
As I turn to sand
I feel myself start to decay
As my own being fades away
Into the wind it goes
As you suffer you woes
Trying to avoid the hurt
Crying tears into a storming desert
You took my hand in your grasp
Hoping that the feeling would last
But as I slowly decayed away
You tried to will yourself to decay with me
