Cold October Evening [EV & SV]

Contributed by Alexa_Bachtel on Monday, 26th October 2009 @ 12:43:08 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Cold October evening,
Snow and slush behind a window,
But it is far from us,
There, behind a window.

And here, here so warmly
From a flame of an old fireplace,
From the candles burning in twilight of the house,
From a glass of a warm grog in my hand
And from your embraces.

My God, as I want,
That this moment never came to an end,
That fire was eternally reflected in your eyes,
And that you always gave me the heat,
Heat of your body, of your heart.

I'm so excited when you're sitting near to me,
Having crossed your hands at my breast,
You're whispering in Spanish out of syllable
And words in transfer sound a little strange.

I just like to stir with you about the future,
About the house, about kids, without building any plans,
Just to exchange any romantic nonsenses
And sit as two enamored on a warm plaid at a fireplace.

Out of early winter storming behind a window,
Out of this cold and out of this slush,
Just to be heated in your arms, melting from your words,
At an old fireplace in cold October evening.
