lean back and close your eyes
isn`t the breeze in your face
warmth on your skin.
like these i am not contained, or caged,
like these I am ever present.
and you a broken thing
isn`t it like them to capture the rarest thing?
tear at its beauty, watch it collapse.
I would trade the kingdom for one of these,
and again set it free.
believe the soul will bleed, but not fail.

James,
this is very beautiful and the message that rests within the verse really tugged at my heart.
