I'm probably hesitant and you know this,
But somehow you don't wanna tell what's my mistake,
I figure out that I'm a layman in the first steps,
But all the same you're smilin when you watch
The way I'm tryin so hard to be your lady.
I know I'm hangin on the fleetin illusion
On the man, which probably will never be mine,
But I'm tryin, however it's hard, I'm tryin
I'm probably outta my mind,
It's the way that I'm goin
From one extreme to the other,
It's the way I work on ya
All of the charms that I got.
But you just smile, watchin
All this frenzy masquerade.
I'm flirtin with'cha, but your attention,
Unfortunately, not mine.
You like the way I'm with you as a friend,
Never revealin the way I really feel.
Can't you see I'm sick and tired of bein
Your friend with benefits.
We're spendin time together,we're kissin,
But this can't get enough.
You've gotta find out that I want more
I wanna be your lover's thing.
I'm probably outta my mind,
It's the way that I'm goin'
From one extreme to the other,
It's the way I work on ya

But you just smile, watchin
All this frenzy masquerade.
Insistence and persistence ain't my sphere,
But I can afford to wait whenever it takes,
I know we're just friends now, friend with benefits,
But I want more, I wanna be your perfect fit
Your lady, your BBF, your lover's thing,
So why don'tcha push back on me?
I'm probably outta my mind,

But that's my biggest wish.
