They all ask
for the diamond
and beg to
touch the gold
they get the hundred
percent long after
they mark it sold.
They stamp the
crate for domestic
taxes and leave
it rotting
on the dock
their ship sails for
parts unknown while
her heart's emotions
they lock.
They live her
blessed switch
on high and laugh
all day long of their
valued skill
she feels the rage
flood her brain
as she struggles
back down
the honor hill.
They beg for the
conquest of her
giving up her all
as they stand this side
of their own
releases
she knows the
journey is forever
troubled
yet her compliance
never somehow ceases.
The rotting corpse
of her core is spent
for all to see
as they wonder
why she chose
the lights and stage
if only just to
feel free
every one of them
are the same
with their
territorial pride
as she jumps from
the dock to the
forest in all attempts
just to hide.
