Alienation of Temptation

Contributed by kleetas on Friday, 23rd October 2009 @ 04:17:38 PM in AEST
Topic: psychoticpoems

Canada was good

Now it's bad

VICTORY

You are planning God's final deed

We lost the best we ever had

Put down the gun and plant a seed

Slid down the slope from high above

So they don't end up with zeroes

Somebody gave a final shove

Give some hope to little heroes

Lead me not to Shylocks gate

Don't you listen to deaths refrain

Complicity sealed our final fate

Acid tongues and acid rain

Polluted minds polluted souls

Human cortex in mason jars

Human greed and human tolls

Run to Pluto's Moon and Mars

Who sings for thee in times of pain

Hear the echoes of Satan's rebuke

Do it quick is today's refrain

You make me sick when G men puke

Two hundred years of weary toil

No more paint on Rembrandts aisle

Caldren's brew of toxic soil

Grow some corn make bio diesel

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
