Aimee

Topic: Lifepoems

She came to me a late night,
Weeping stormily, she whispered "It's over"
Then I asked her "What's up girl,
What’cha crying at?"
She told me all her story
From the start.

Getting amazed more and more,
I repeated: "Aimee, Aimee,
My pour little girl,
Where was your dignity?"

That's what she told me:
He was older than her
And it was her first love,
So she's about to give her all
To the guy, she believed, was the one.
Did I mention that she was telling,
That she let him steal her cherry?
She told with tears, that he had kissed her,
And told her that would be with her forever,
He's promised to put the world at her knees,
And she believed his words, his kisses.

Getting amazed more and more,
I repeated: "Aimee, Aimee,
My pour little girl,
Where was your dignity?"

This morning they were sitting in his car,
And he told her: "Aimee, baby, you deserve more,
And I just wanna give you all that you want,
Just tell me what you need, girl?”
Having smiled with her broken smile
She told me that she hadn't needed
Anything but him that time,
But she just didn't know who he really is.

Getting amazed more and more,
I repeated: "Aimee, Aimee,
My pour little girl,
Where was your dignity?"

He was kissing her tenderly like he used to do,
And got out his car, having told her
That he wants give her a gift,
It's finer which isn't present in the entire world.
She saw him slowly moving to the jewelry store,
And telling something to the jeweler
As she thought then about some kinda ring.
After that he's just shot him down and run away.

Getting amazed more and more,
I repeated: "Aimee, Aimee,
My pour little girl,
Where was your dignity?"

She couldn't remember how long they were driving
Because that picture was standing on and on in her minds.
She stopped talking for awhile
And then she told me that he'd kill her if she tells someone.
Calming herself down, she's left, having closed the door,
And I haven't seen her few days, don't know what's gotten to her,
I heard that guy has got in jail, I kinda heard that Aimee's left the town,
Having told nothing to anybody.

I don't know where she's now,
But when I recall our final conversation,
I repeat: "Aimee, Aimee,
My pour little girl,
Where was your dignity?"
