Day and night

Day and night

The date we had met,

the destination was wrong,

my love moved a bit too fast,

yours moved a bit slowly,

when you found me,

you said nothing but sorry.

One day,

you kissed my hair,

and wiped off the sweat from my face with a piece of facial tissue.

In a minute,

I was upset,

that was the best wine I had ever tasted,

I had drunk too much that I couldn't stand.

When sunset lightened my face again,

we finished our story.

hid our steps.

Till now,

I still remember the bright stars.

Returned home,

I wrote down our memory,

and asked the sky a question,

how to let the day around me forever,

for I didn't like to think of your shadow.

The following evening,

I was standing in front of the window,

looking at the clock.

Yes,

at that moment,

I was waiting for you.

Certainly,

I liked to be roused by the sound of bell.

As it was getting dark,

I didn't want to draw the curtain.

I listened to the clock ticking on the wall,

I saw the clock working well,

but I didn't dare to greet it a hello.

Just like,

a bored person went through a basketball court,

a joyful person went through a convenience store after libertinage,

I wanted to have a pause with you on the sidewalk,

for was lost on my love way.

As if,

the day couldn't wait to kiss the nightfall,

the night couldn't wait to wave the day break,

I couldn't wait to walk with you on the street,

for I missed you terribly......

After met you,

I started trying to remember my every dream,

for I felt I fell in love with you quickly,

and you drived me crazy.

Day and night,

I felt my life was really good,

and counting the days till the date.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
