Her Soul Left Bare

Contributed by jaeann on Tuesday, 20th October 2009 @ 07:13:57 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

She's tangled,
mangled,
falling and blue.

She's lost,
was crossed,
crying for you.

She's reeling,
dealing,
broken in two.

She's hiding,
abiding,
waiting and due.

She's fuming,
brooding,
weeping with rue.

She's stunned,
on the run,
away from the stew.

She's crashing,
thrashing,
breathless without use.

She's tumbling,
stumbling,
blinded by the ruse.

She's wrought
with despair,
alone without a spare,
forced to pay the tare,
left with all that's unfair,
to trust again,
she'll not dare,
fending apart
from anyone's care,
trying to resist
evil's lair,
she lays bleeding,
her soul left bare.

She's bearing the cross...
from the sea which has tossed....
banished and bruised,
fumbled and used....
she waits in vain....
for the rain....
to wash away this pain...

She's got no one
there for her
heart to rely.

All her innocence
screams soundly
to defy.

From reality
she must
quickly shy.

A new destiny
on which
to buy.

While all the while
she simply
cries.

As the last of her
spirit quietly
fades and dies.

The short lines emphasize the pain and despair of your words.

Trust lost is rarely recovered, but that shouldn't mean one can't ever trust again. After all, the reward is worth the risk if one is lucky enough to make the right connection.

If you're like me you write to release your pent-up emotions. Keep writing and let it all out.

There's only one person that stop all the pain dear Jaymee.......that person is you.
Does it help to be indignant? "How dare he do this to me?" "If he really loved me like he said he would, then this wouldn't be happening to me?
When I become Irrate.........that's when the tables begin to change.........
No one has the right to do this to you Jaymee......only you can stop the fading spirit, and the dying soul!!! Remember it's yours, it belongs to you..............don't allow him to do this to you.
Warm love
Momconsue

i can relate, death of the ego, the flames of hell where every man and woman faces his true self and is purged , while waling the tight rope between madness and genius, becoming full of love and seeing all connections and being all and understanding all at once, amazing write.
