Eternal Values

What's hidden there,
Where the dark ends,
Where the sun's bathing
In the morning flow,
What's waiting for us,
When the death comes,
Hell or paradise?

I've never wondered,
What would left after me,
I've never thought,
What would tomorrow bring,
I've just lived.
By myself or surrounded
By the circle of my friends.
I've just known,
There's the shoulder there,
I always can lay on.
Always can call for help,
And knew they'd come.
I've just known.

I've known I mustn't think,
About what's hidden there
Where the nature's rises,
Where the sun is bathing
In the morning flow.
I've just known.

How have I known,
You must've asked me,
So here's the answer,
I've always known
What I'm living for,
I've known the price of life
And the things I'd never put on the line,
I've known the price of money,
And the things I cannot buy.

I loved and was loved,
I lost and found,
But I've always known,
There's someone on my side,
Someone to watch over me,
Someone to need me,
And someone who I need.
These are my friends,
These are my parents,
This is my lover,
And the one who's called by people
G.O.D.

So what's hidden there,
Where the death is rising,
And what beneath the lies,
Who'll lead us in our last hike
To the gates that Bible describes,
Saint Peter or Lucifer in his flesh.
Whatever, you just got to live,
Got to live a good life,
And then you'll choose
Who's gonna open the heaven's gates
For you.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
