''The Life''

Topic: oops

I look at all the fancy screens
across them flash the prolific scenes
of drugs,violence,sex and things
a kid just shouldnt see

The parents arent there
theyre at the job fair
looking for a way to survive

40 years pass by
they grow old and die
kids now where they once were

this is the life
that cuts like a knife
right through through fabric of time

oh look at the trail

Well not often do I become a critic on anothers work so you are out of luck there lol.

I did like this poem, and it reads well.
You also captured a strong and very true message in this verse, I do so agree. Hard times now days for many.
