Girl From The Past

I see him hurting so bad
When he recalls the past,
What's been before he met me,
Now everything changed,
But every time he holds me,
He imagines someone else.

His heart is still with her,
With that girl from the past,
He keeps regretting about
About the things that has gone,
So why can't you let him go?
He's already got an other life,
He's with me but he's unhappy,
Cos I can't replace you in his heart,
Oh, girl from the past...

He's sad for some strange reasons,
But he's never told me why.
Can't he see it kills both of us,
The way he can't erase you
From his mind.
He's looking in my eyes,
But his heart's with someone else,
It's so further away from here,
Whereto I can't reach,
Whereto I can't make him heard,
Cos it's still there, with her.

His heart is still with her,
With that girl from the past,
He keeps regretting about
About the things that has gone,
So why can't you let him go?
He's already got an other life,
He's with me but he's unhappy,
Cos I can't replace you in his heart,
Oh, girl from the past...

I'm begging you to let him go,
Can't you see he's not yours anymore,
Cos you're the past, but I'm the future,
Though his heart still couldn't let you go.
I see you don't care about me,
But let him live...
Let him go!!!
