A picture of his footprint and it tread memories
Of a seashore that didn’t have me that day
Just him and the seagulls, he writes me
That took my breath away with the tide…
His gypsy soul paused for me that Friday
To capture the whispering sea around him
They whispered a name and he print it to life
Through the worlds that separate us and our lives
The seagulls frolicking and little seashells shy
Enchant his footprint and the story it tells
A slice of beauty, a sliver of his life
With me in it looking through a hundred shards…
