The World I Was Searching..Was A Heart

Contributed by irasharma87 on Friday, 16th October 2009 @ 10:32:07 PM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

the rainfall outside..
the sand waiting for beloved waves on seaside,
the dance of birds,
the clapping of leaves,
the innocent laughter of the flowers,
i wanted to feel it all in one place,
the world so nice..
i started to search, for this dream of my eyes..
i went in rain,
those wires of rainwater,
the air as violen stick,
touched the rainfall and i heard the music..
a flower called me
and whispered something
i smiled, then laughed,
and went away blushing..
i wished there i could stay,
but for my further search
i had to move away..

i went inside a garden,
and heard a cry
i had stepped on a grass leaf
making it die..
another leaf shed a dew dropp on me
and the other dew dropp that shed was from my eye..
feeling like a sinner, there i cudn't stay,
so apologizing, i moved away..

i closed my eyes
and went on the clouds
to be away from
the painful worldly shouts
when mister cloud opened the fridge
i started freezing
we heard some teeth shivering
the moon was sneezing
despite the innocent joy, i cudnt stay
so for searching further
i moved away..

storm came to me, and took my hand,
i asked him to leave me
but he hold me up in some possession
and didn't allow me to even stand..
swirled me around
and dropped me down..
tears in eyes, i asked 'why to me, like this u behave? '
he also got tears, said 'i was loving u, in my own way..'
honestly, then with him i wanted to stay
but had broken a loving heart,
so grieving, i went away..

the joy of rainfall, the tears of leaf,
the funny innocence of cloud, and the storm
i wanted to have all in one place
after getting tired, i sat sad and alone
a thought, suddenly, touched me
it said..
'the joy, the innocence, the pain
was in ur heart, and not in rain
remember, it was Your Heart..
who felt it, who lived it
who blushed, who smiled,
who laughed, who cried, '

i now got the name of the place,
where all the emotions and feelings stay..
the one who made me feel it all the way,
it was 'Heart'..
now my next move is to search
and to abide..
to find a similar heart
and..forever, hide..

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
