I saw an angel today, wrapped in swaddling cloth,
my heart skipped a beat, and I bowed my head to pray.
Looking upon him, the eyes of his creator,
love dripped from his heart, the beginning of start,
a thousand words could not exspress,
feelings from my chest,
cause I know he'll give his best.
I saw an angel today,
sleeping on his daddy's chest.

I really enjoyed this read ... normally I would have moved passed it simply for the religious undertones ...
but after reading it through I can see it is so much more than that.
A very beautiful piece
