Darkness Sublime

Contributed by jaeann on Monday, 12th October 2009 @ 01:03:10 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

She blindly wanders
from room to room
emptying memories
into boxes.....
weeping in awe.....
screaming in shock
at the loss of her rock.

She's buried a lot
of dreams from
time to time
in her life...
laid down and endured
many a knife....
but he's the only one
that could ever claim
her "wife".

Now she's lost
and empty of her purpose...
hoping he's always gonna
love her with all his might....
drinking herself through the
long terror-filled nights...
on droning automatic
all throughout the
daylight.

She feels her soul die
a little each day ....
every hour she no longer
feels his touch...his breath
on her skin is missed
so much.

A barren vessel
aching for his
penetrative
hunch
even if all she had
was a few minutes
of such.

Come back
come back
she screams....
she cries
as he flies
with no time left
for her to buy
while she's out of sight
will she be out of his mind...
as he's leaving her behind
where all she
can find is
sweet
darkness sublime....

Where she's never again
gonna be just fine...
no more words left
for her to rhyme...
until he changes
his mind
she'll just hide...
wandering along
unfound....
unbridled....
unloved without him.
