Flaxen Moon

A flaxen moon
separates the night,
from blind drunkenness
to sobering light.
High tides quietly rise
over tender sands of time.
They sweep away pasts,
adding verse to the rhyme.
Vernal changes
of late season.
Celestial currents
offer reason.
A luminous energy
both of time and of truth
shines off shadowy waters
of our disbanding youth.
Ebbing ever further away,
despair is all that now looms.
Flowing towards urgent rays
that were sent by a flaxen moon.

That's just wonderful...I shopuld say it just points out that nothing lasts forever.
As they say,
