My world was a
Cold,
Dark,
Lonely place.
One filled with so much pain,
So much suffering.
One where I felt so
Unloved...
Unwanted...
Worthless...
Unlovable.
So many times I wished,
Dreamed,
For someone to love me,
And not expect me to break myself working for it.
For such a long time,
I thought I was a bad person,
Doomed to an existence of loneliness...
Doomed to never truly be loved...
Doomed to live,
Exist only in darkness.
Then you came along,
With your gentleness...
With your kindness...
With your love.
You brought your loving light into my life.
I am in awe at the love you feel for me
I don't understand how,
Someone as wonderful and caring,
Could ever love someone like me.
But I am beyond happy that you do.
I feel so beyond lucky to have you in my life.
To have you as more than a friend,
I can't even begin to describe it.
There truly are no words.
To have found my soul mate,
In a friend who I have fallen so in love with,
That too is beyond words.
We made it through thick and thin,
As friends,
For all the years we have known each other.
I know deep down,
That we will make this work,
As long as we both try.
You went from being one of my best friends,
To the man I love completely...
To the man I want to spend the rest of my life with...
To the man I know is my soul mate.
My other half.
I feel whole...
Free...
Wanted...
Loved.
My wish finally came true...
All thanks to you.
You are my world,
My everything.
I...
Love...
You...
Always.
