What an unexpected pleasure

What an unexpected pleausre

"Have a guess,

Who gave me a call this morning?"

you are smiling.

"Tell me?

tell me who brought you such a pleasure?"

I put my hands on your shoulders.

"My director!"

you are too excited to pull my ears.

"Haha,

you must either be drunk or mad."

I behave as if nothing happened.

"Don't you believe?

He told me he had come back,

he wanted me to work with him again.

Do you know?

his new company is near our house."

you look at me with delight in your eyes.

"Your answer?"

your news cheers me up,

what an unexpected pleasure!

"Of course I want!

But I need your word......"

you take me to the sofa and sit down,

"What time is the ball game on?"

"It starts in ten minutes.

Oh, congratulations!

the satisfactions of doing work that you love will belong to you again,

you can do what you want."

I say to you with all my heart.

"Don't worry,

I am not going to throw you away,

I have always been on the square with you."

you hug me tightly,

"Tomorrow,

I am going to work.

let me stand you a dinner,

when will our son come back?"

I am very happy to hear that,

I put my hand on your arm,

"Our son is waiting for us in our sister's home.

Good for you!

Let us go......"

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
