~~*~~Don't Ask, Don't Tell~~*~~

Do you know what your doing
Do you know what your getting yourself into
Are you prepare to face hell for what your doing
every time you...
I dont want to lose you at judgement day
I dont want to cry on that wonderful day

but is anyone sure how we will be judge
is being a good person and going to church enough

~*~ if they dont ask then you dont tell ~*~
you dont flash your...?... around
like ever one approves
but you still live it
hide it
but never lie about it
you at lest admit it

is it really wrong
the kinda of love you give
will you pay the ultimate price for
loving someone just like you
for being the nicest person I know
for have a heart full of love and joy

people who met you
they dont know
they cant read it on your face
or see it in your soul while looking through your eyes
whom cry more than I wish they would

you asked not to be judged
thats for God to decide
I realize your worries and why people look down on you
judge you
haze you
hit you and beat you for something you cant see
you cant live
you cant breath

I cant understand, you see
im not like you
im like them
I just think what you doing isnt so bad

so continue to sing your sweet love song
continue to dance while no ones looking
continue to believe what you know is right
and continue to be the good person I see
when I look inside
and continue to be my best friend...
~~love ya Jason~~

What a 'thinker' and 'seeker' you are, Percursors! This is a tough situation for anyone let alone a Christian to settle in their hearts. For me, I perceive it as a sin that can do alot of harm to mankind, but most of all, it hurts God. Although, homosexuality is terrible, so, also, are all the other sins such as adultery, murder, stealing, telling lies. We all sin in many ways, but if we choose to please God, He will help us change. It is our choice. He did not make us to be puppets on a string.
Your friend probably has many good qualities.
You say that he is a Christian, but just going to church doesn't make him so,... but perhaps he wants to be. I would advise that you show friendship and admiration for the godly traits and disappointment in the fault. Pray for him or her. I, personally, don't ask and if the person doesn't try to flaunt their sin as a normal lifestyle, then I treat them the same as my other friends. If they choose to be rebelious about it, thats their choice. I treat them courteously, but leave them alone. It could be that with loving patience, your friend will decide to turn to the Lord for strength to overcome that sin. Great-grandma Bizzy
