Behind my skin

Behind my skin
is my inner self,
hiding.
The shell of life has covered me,
with no space to breath.
playing the keys of hope,
my piano is my only true friend.
I will kiss the rain
while it takes away my pain

when that door closes
my whole life changes.
behind my skin
comes my confidence,
comes my smile.
That door is my fear,
once its open, my shell get even bigger,
i cant crack life open.
everything you havent seen is

behind this skin
