Thank you for understanding

The next morning,

when I was preparing the breakfast,

our mother came,

"How are you?

your sister told me you......"

I didn't know what could say,

I just could give a smile to smooth away her worry.

Mother asked me where you were.

I told her you were asleep,

"Don't wake him.

He didn't sleep well last night."

Then,

I stood with my head bent, silent......

Mother looked at me,

"What happened?

Do you know?

if anything happens to you,

what shall we do?

does your family can forgive my son?"

I blushed when our mother scolded me,

In my memories,

that was the fist time our mother blamed me.

I didn't dare follow our mother to the living room.

I was very worried when I heard our mother told you to phone our family,

I thanked you for understanding,

your words made me relaxed,

"Mother,

Don't urge me to do so.

It is my fault,

I guarantee that this will not happen again.

Indeed,

I didn't want to give you the information."

When I came in the living room,

I saw our mother washing the clothes I wore last night,

it made me squirm to think how I had messed up......

I started calling our mother to breakfast,

mother came in and told our son,

"Let us grab a quick breakfast,

then I will take you to your aunt's home.

Your sister is waiting for you."

Our son gave me a searching look,

I didn't think he mentioned it,

In fact,

I thought he knew what happened last night......

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
